"...In his works, the Artist opposes any recreation or even suggestion of objective reality. He does not emphasize "pure form", because his art is not devoid of any content. However, it works not by reproducing motifs selected from the surrounding reality, but by using systems of lines, forms and colors, understood as the most general system of signs. The artist is not interested in specific fragments of nature or episodes of life, but in his works he shows universal human problems; philosophical and emotional.
Bogdan Mielczarek maintains, following Kandinsky, that art has value only when it arises from "internal necessity". In his works, Mielczarek treats geometric forms, as well as colors, as carriers of internal content. There is a constant relationship between color and form; color can emphasize one form and suppress another. In this artist's works, sharp colors work even more strongly in sharp forms (e.g. yellow in a triangle). Since the number of colors and forms is infinite, the possibilities of their combinations are also infinite, and at the same time their impact and perception are infinitely different.
Therefore, we wish you many individual impressions when viewing Bogdan Mielczarek's works and finding your own experiences in them."
